Okay,  here I am with yet another musical review.  I love them so much.  I basically love going to see people perform live because there is so much skill involved and you know they put so much work into it.  There's no messing up or making mistakes or getting a chance to do another take, especially in a show like this.

Disclaimer: I knew nothing of this show before seeing it.  All I knew was that with my season tickets to Segerstrom Center for the Arts, I was going to see it.  I LOVED it!  It was all about the tap dancing.  The very first thing you see at this performance is the curtain lifting up only enough to see the feet of all of the performers in the play tap dancing in colorful shoes.  Not one foot out of place and I mean they were tapping at a serious rate.  It was amazing.  And the show went on to be great from there.

One would think that all of that athletic tap dancing would be a hindrance to the singing, but alas, one would be dead wrong! There were some beautiful voices in this show and I'm amazed there were able to breathe let alone belt out the tunes after all of that dancing. I would see this one again if only for the tap dancing.  It was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.  Go see it if you can!
